I used my mom's method

So Ler has a block nose, he couldn't sleep. I gave him half a pill of antihistamine.
He rubbed his nose and his eyes. I felt irritable because I don't want him to hurt his eyes and I don't know how to stop him. I don't even know other more ways to ease his discomfort. I think casually, `God, how do I do', He couldn't stand anymore and burst into a tantrum. I was unprepared and shocked by the sudden loudness. Like any tired and exhausted mother, I shouted, `go to sleep!!, SO LER SLEEP, WHO GOT NO SICK? EVERYBODY GOT SICK! MOMMY IS SICK TOO!(just recovering from vomitting  phlegm)....SLEEP!GO TO SLEEP!MOMMY BEAT BEAT!!'
He buy my threatening and slowly quiet down. :)

..ei? wrong time, it was in the morning, he was asking to,`go brush teeth', & he said, `...5 minutes..." :)

Pencil Sketch Visual

..that was the first time we were at the `Fish Market'. He only `layan' chips. The second time, with the visual helps: `First' `Then' and a little pushed (three times i offered him the food), he'd eaten three table spoons of rice and two small bites of fish fillet...I felt ...`IT WAS SUCH AN ACHIEVEMENT'!!!!:D:D



Pencil is an essential little tool in my bag, i like scribble...Thanks for given me the assurance (that i was being creative :p) it helps me to move on..:)

‎...i was too rushed into problem solving. I learnt something at a conference, NECIC the concurrent session, topic:behavior management. So I've changed my perspective now. I should be, first of all, trying to Understand him, Accepting him, not wanting to change his behavior; then use approaches that he could manage at his own pace(ability). I must face the fact by now, that he is not just `Developmental Delay' but really, he may have `Intellectual Disability', It helps making things a lot easier.

100% Good mood! 好心情!!

So Ler was playing a puzzle of dinosaurs picture on it. He took out the half left, put back in place; he removed the right part, put back in place. He managed to finish it at his first attempt. It amazed me.

It has been more than a year I avoid doing puzzle and worksheet with him. I was struggling with his stubbornness and my lack of patience. Thong took over the night routine initially and let loose afterwards. I didn't know what to do. It was so hard.

‎I want to know the sequence of doing puzzle at school. Rini told me, first, take out all pieces, sometimes she helped to pick up the edges, and he would did it all by himself! But no one seems to do half side puzzle then the other half!!! I felt so happy...why? I guess it's because I find him manage to find a new way of doing things, not just repetition, his brain is working, he's not monotonous, he isn't boring!

he insisted to finish the puzzle for the forth times before go to sleep, he bargained, `5 minutes'....when i said no for his second plead, he tried 1,angry (i won't give in) 2.he tried cry(i won't give in)3.then he said, ` 5 minute, more!'

oh! not yet, before the last bargain, i said, ok 1minute, then i starte to count very slowly 1 to 100 (very tire and sleppeely)...when he got the deal, he kept saying,`one to one hundred'...
